The CFPB as well as other regulatory bodies have been cracking down on lenders, banks and credit unions, requiring that they know their repossession vendors. These days our clients have to know not only that they are dealing with a competent repossession agency, but that they are trained and qualified to avoid things like a breach of the peace, or a violation of the laws and regulations that govern our clients and their customers.

The CARS and CCRS certification programs close the window of legal liability for creditors and forwarders concerning their contracted repossession company service providers. The CARS and CCRS certifications cover all state and federal laws that impact the self-help repossession process and it has been put to the test in a court of law proving the recovery agent acted lawfully. All Integrity Recovery Services agents must be certified before they are permitted to perform any repossession services.
RISC Compliance is critical in daily operations for the automotive finance industry and it is important that lenders meet the compliance expectations set by government regulators. RISC’s education, lot inspection, and vetting services support lenders, and ensure vigilance in their mission of compliance. Many of our clients utilize RISC to perform lot inspections, if you are already on board with RISC then you may have access to our current or prior inspections.

This service is provided to our clients when either a unit is reported damaged or unrecoverable. Some vehicles are blocked in or behind a locked gate. When this is the case Integrity Recovery Services takes High-Resolution photos to provide proof the debtor is deliberately preventing the repossession from taking place.
Storage to our clients can work two ways, long term and short term. Short term is not to exceed 10 days and is included in the cost of repossession. Sometimes units need to stay longer than ten days, and even up to several months. Rest assured that your collateral will be stored and protected safely.
Transport to auction is when a unit has been repossessed and the registered owner is not redeeming the vehicle. Most lien holders send the unit to auction to be sold quickly and at a lower cost. Auction companies typically charge higher rates for transport so Integrity Recovery Services offers this service as a solution for the high transport cost.
License plate capture cameras, also known as license plate recognition / LPR cameras, are a specialized type of camera designed to capture numbers and letters of license plates on still or moving vehicles. LPR cameras are designed with built-in software and hardware that compensates for speed, weather, and headlight glare. License plate cameras (or LPR cameras) are cameras which can extract numbers and letters from a license plate using infrared illuminators or ambient lighting. A typical security camera is unable to process the reflecting light bouncing off a license plate. Without infrared, a regular security camera will capture a poorly lit image with too much static. Regular security cameras typically can not compensate for these variables to capture a usable image that can identify license plate numbers and letters and is then compared with an repossession assignment "hot list" to identify wanted collateral.
